SD Software Terms

Terms

Last updated 21 October 2026. These terms cover this website, our plugins, and the licence keys we sell. They are between you and SD Software LLC, a company registered in Yerevan, Armenia.

Paid plugins are not on sale yet. The descriptions below explain the planned licence model. Final purchase terms will be confirmed before sales open.

The plugins are free software

Every plugin we make, free or paid, is licensed under the GNU General Public License. The plugins in the WordPress directory are under version 2 or later; Codeep Voice Pro is under version 3 or later, because it works with a component licensed that way. You may use any of them on any number of sites, read them, change them and pass them on, under that licence. Nothing on this page takes any of that away, and nothing on this page can: the GPL grants it directly.

So what a key sells is never permission to use code. It is one of the two things described below.

What a licence key is

Every key is tied to the address of the site it is used on. How it is paid for, and what it buys, depends on the product.

Neither kind of key ever switches off, reduces or expires anything the free plugin does. Copies of your site marked as staging, development or local do not count against a key. Moving a site to a new domain is ordinary and we will move the key for you; just write to us. Running one key on several unrelated sites is not, and we may refuse requests from domains the key was not sold for.

Buying

Purchases are not available yet. Before sales open, this page will name the payment provider and explain checkout, taxes and licence delivery.

Refunds: fourteen days, no questions asked. The details are on the refund page.

What we promise about the service

We will keep the service running, answer support mail, and fix what breaks. What we do not promise is a particular uptime figure, because we are a small company and a number we cannot guarantee is worse than no number.

What we do commit to is this: if our service stops existing, the plugin keeps working. The free way does not touch our servers in any way, and it is built so that it cannot. That is not a courtesy; there is simply no code in it that calls us.

A paid add-on checks its key with us, but it does not depend on the answer. If our licence server stops answering, the add-on keeps working; only a key we have actually refused, or one whose paid year has ended, switches it off.

If we ever discontinue a paid service, we will say so with notice and refund the unused part of any allowance.

What we do not promise

Machine translation and machine speech are not always correct, and we do not claim otherwise. The output is a draft for you to read. Our plugins are built around that: they show you the result before writing it, and they let you take a run back.

You are responsible for what you publish on your own site. We are not liable for a mistranslated product description, a mispronounced name, or any consequence of publishing machine output without reading it.

Where the law allows us to limit liability, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us, which for most people is nothing and for everyone else is the price of one key. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, or your rights as a consumer under your own country's law.

What you agree not to do

If one of these happens we may suspend a key. We will tell you why, and if we got it wrong we will put it back.

Your content

Text you send to the paid service stays yours. We claim no right over it, we do not keep it after the answer comes back, and we do not use it to train anything.

Changes and law

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. A change never applies backwards to a key you already bought.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not take away the protections your own country gives you.
